      Goal

      • There are certain packages that are distribution-specific and need to be swapped in the upgrade yum transaction with their RHEL counterpart when converting and upgrading CentOS Stream X to RHEL X+1. At minimum it's these:
        • centos-logos | redhat-logos
        • centos-logos-httpd | redhat-logos-httpd
        • centos-logos-ipa | redhat-logos-ipa
        • centos-indexhtml | redhat-indexhtml
        • centos-backgrounds | redhat-backgrounds
        • centos-stream-release | redhat-release
      • Then there are distribution-specific packages that should be removed in the upgrade yum transaction as they have no RHEL counterpart. The list includes:
        • centos-gpg-keys
        • centos-stream-repos

      Acceptance criteria

A list of verification conditions, successful functional tests, or expected outcomes in order to declare this story/task successfully completed.

      • Distribution-specific packages that need to be swapped and removed are identified. At minimum it's those mentioned above in the Goal.
        • Warning: In leapp we don't really do a "swap", we "replace" packages in leapp
      • A leapp actor influences the upgrade transaction to swap and remove the identified packages.
