This template is intended to track all the steps for adding a new container image to a RHEL release. When cloning the issue, please:
      1) Fill out the name of the container image in the Summary.
      2) Set the fixVersion to the appropriate RHEL version where you intend to ship the container.
      3) Select the correct Pool Team who will own the container.
      4) Assign the issue to the image owner and instruct them to drive the request to completion.

      New RHEL Images must:

      • Be approved by Product Management.
      • All of the packages in the image must be in RHEL repos, i.e. not in some other Red Hat product repos.  This is a legal and support requirement for RHEL images.
      • From legal: "Legally if we provide something with RHEL, then we need to treat it like a RHEL component and part of the RHEL subscription, i.e. provide RPMs, bits to subscribers, etc."
      • Any images in the rhel/ and ubi/ repos (namespaces) are considered part of the RHEL product and need to adhere to the RHEL lifecycles and support policies, etc

This template is based on lfriedma@redhat.com's New Container Image Checklist, which may contain more details regarding some of the steps. Please consult the document and if needed reach out to the Container PgMs (lfriedma@redhat.com, jpaulovi@redhat.com) for help.
