This ticket is tracking the enabling of the DPDK mlx5 poll mode driver on aarch64 in the official RHEL DPDK package. Upstream mlx5 supports ARM and NVIDIA connectX and Bluefield families but the current RHEL spec disables that, forcing customers or QE to rely on scratch builds.

This is needed by partners/customers (e.g. SoftBank, NEC, Fujitsu) that want 20-30% energy reduction and better price/perf on ARM for RAN/CU/DPU adjacent workloads; lack of official mlx5 PMD on aarch64 blocks evaluations and POCs on CX6/CX7/BF-3 in NIC mode.
