rhel-9.8
Goal
As a product owner of leapp,
I want to make sure that when releasing leapp at the time of the RHEL 9.8 GA, leapp does not allow upgrading to then unsupported RHEL minor versions - specifically upgrades from 8.10 to 9.4 and from 9.7 to 10.1,
so that we:
- limit the number of customer cases with customer upgrading from or to an unsupported RHEL versions
- follow the pre-defined Supported in-place upgrade paths for Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Acceptance criteria
A list of verification conditions, successful functional tests, or expected outcomes in order to declare this story/task successfully completed.
- https://github.com/oamg/leapp-repository/blob/main/repos/system_upgrade/common/files/upgrade_paths.json is updated to remove:
- 8.10 -> 9.4 from the rhel default, rhel saphana
- 9.7 -> 10.1 from the rhel default
- CI tests are updated to reflect the changes (.packit.yaml)
