CNV-60441 discusses the situation in which a customer has a performance issue and wants to debug it. On VMware they use "esxtop", and a similar tool is wanted for CNV.

QEMU collects some statistics for all I/O. We need to make sure that this contains the kind of data CNV would want to use in this context, and that it is actually exposed to the CNV level.

The result of this task is a list of statistics that we want to expose to CNV for this purpose and its current status (e.g. available in libvirt/available only in QEMU/wanted, but doesn't exist).
