      Given the NetworkManager version supports HSR/PRP interface types,

      When a connection profile includes an interlink device,

      Then NetworkManager must:

      • create the HSR or PRP interface with the specified interlink port during activation
      • expose the interlink setting in the D-Bus and nmcli connection layer
      • update the interlink dynamically if modified in the connection profile
      • cleanly remove the interlink if unset or deleted in a subsequent profile update

      Goal

      As RHEL HSR user, I want to be able to set interlink for HSR/PRP interface, so that RHEL server could serve as RedBox(Redundant Box) by connecting DAN(dual attachment node) to SAN(single attachment node).

      A list of verification conditions, successful functional tests, or expected outcomes in order to declare this story/task successfully completed.

      • Been able to create HSR interface with interlink connected to SAN.
      • Been able to change interlink to existing HSR interface.
      • Been able to remove interlink of existing HSR interface.
