      Given the underlying HSR/PRP kernel module and NetworkManager version support versioned protocols,

      When a new or existing HSR connection is configured with protocol-version: 2010 or 2012 via D-Bus, nmcli, or connection profile,

      Then NetworkManager must accept and persist the version setting in the connection profile

      Integration test case is available upstream

      Code is reviewed and merged upstream

      Preliminary testing is done

      Upstream documentation is written in the upstream MR

      A demo is recorded

      • Been able to create HSR interface for 2010 version of HSR standard.
      • Been able to create HSR interface for 2012 version of HSR standard.
