We got a request to write a role that configures RHEL Images in Azure with HPC software. Some of the software must be installed from third-party sources.

The role would configure installation repositories, install the software, and do some basic configuration. The steps that the role needs to do are described by yacao@redhat.com in HPC Image configuration steps.

Most probably, we will need to release a z-stream from RHEL 9 to make the role available in RHEL 9.6 (this is the only version required for now).
