      2. unzip its contents and unzip "rhdm-7.3-employee-rostering.zip", which is inside
      3. open a subdirectory "sources"
      4. run "mvn clean install"

      When building Employee Rostering from product sources, the build fails due to missing maven compiler plugin.

      The maven-compiler version has been overriden in jboss-parent pom to a version "3.8.0-jboss-1". This version is not available in maven central nor in GA repository. It's available only in the JBoss public repository.

      In upstream sources, the JBoss public repository is added as a plugin repository in kie-parent. However, product kie-parent does not contain this piece of configuration.
