In main branches there have been a number of cleanup in tests.

These cleanups have removed the use of hamcrest and migrated unit test assertions to assertj.

Not all these cleanup have been backported to 7.67.x and 7.67.x-blue branches.

This makes cherrypicking of patches from main harder or impossible.
