      Feature Overview (aka. Goal Summary)

The initial designs of the extensions/marketplace plugin had a tab for recommendations. (At the moment it isn't there anymore.)

And the extensions plugins contains already option to display "Collections of Plugins". The current implementation might not match exactly the design. See attached screenshots for what we have so far.

"Featured" plugins on the catalog tab:

New "Collections" (or Recommentations?) tab (please ignore plugins and packages tab, that was just an experiment):

      Goals (aka. expected user outcomes)

Enable the existing feature in RHDH by defining some collections.

      Requirements (aka. Acceptance Criteria):

      1. Align the existing "Collections" or "Recommendations" design with our needs (UX)
      2. Support "smart collections" that can list all plugins for specific filter (like author: Red Hat and category: Kubernetes)
      3. Create some collections and load them automatically in RHDH, could candidates (tbd) are:
        1. Featured
        2. Recommendations
        3. Red Hat product integrations?
        4. OpenShift integrations
        5. Catalog extensions
        6. Self-service actions
        7. Plugins with notifications support
        8. New General Available Plugins in 1.x
        9. New (Community) Plugins

      Out of Scope (Optional)

      Customer Considerations (Optional)

Customers benefits from a catalog that contains curated collections like "Featured" or "Recommended Plugins"

      Documentation Considerations

Provide information that needs to be considered and planned so that
documentation will meet customer needs. If the feature extends existing
functionality, provide a link to its current documentation.
