      Description of problem:

      As per :

      https://docs.redhat.com/en/documentation/red_hat_developer_hub/1.8/html/customizing_red_hat_developer_hub/customizing-the-quick-access-card#using-hosted-json-files-to-provide-data-to-the-quick-access-card_customizing-the-quick-access-card

      a json file is used for the Home page Quick Links. "iconUrl" entries are used to specify the icon.

       

      Up until version 1.7.x, the "iconUrl" supported inline base64 PNG images of the form:

          iconUrl: "data:image/png;base64,..."

      After upgrading to RHDH 1.8.0, the icon no longer appears.

      Prerequisites (if any, like setup, operators/versions):

      Steps to Reproduce

       

      1. create a Home page quick link with iconUrl of the format "data:image/png;base64,..."
      2. view the icon on RHDH 1.7.1
      3. Upgrade RHDH to 1.8.0
      4. View the icon. It will not appear.

      Actual results:

      Icon does not appear.

      Expected results:

      Icon should appear as in RHDH 1.7.x

      Always
