Actual results:

Explore your catalog section cards include a Component chip in the bottom left (Component, Resource, etc). The template section underneath that one, all of the cards are for Templates, and they display in the upper left as the first thing in the card.

Expected results:

If we want to be consistent and use them for both sections, shouldn't the placement be the same? It feels like a decorator, not the first thing that should show, especially if everything in that section will have it (which makes me wonder the utility). In the Explore section, it at least helps point out the different types since they intermingle, even if they can't be clicked or utilized to see that category.
