The background color of the sidebar menu is not customizable.

      Description of problem:

      The selected item in the sidebar menu now has a white background in light mode or a dark gray in dark mode. Ideally, this color should be editable in app-config to allow for an appropriate contrast with both selectedColor and sidebarBackgroundColor.
