The current Tekton Hub docs: https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/4.11/cicd/pipelines/using-tekton-hub-with-openshift-pipelines.html instruct people to fork upstream Tekton Hub web application.
That application config uses https://github.com/tektoncd/catalog as catalog (see: https://github.com/tektoncd/hub/blob/5360245dc37c10308d6f18679e9d4f0dcad746bc/config.yaml#L42). That catalog contains references to roughly 490 upstream, non-productized images. The docs don't say people need to replace that catalog.
Docs should refer only to Red Hat controlled repositories. The https://github.com/tektoncd/hub is not.
A productized RH catalog needs to be used instead. This catalog need to reference only productized images.
The https://source.redhat.com/groups/public/commonreleaseterms/onprem/technology_preview clearly states that without productization, a component can't be called a Technology Preview. The page https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/4.11/cicd/pipelines/using-tekton-hub-with-openshift-pipelines.html states it is Tech Preview.
