Scope:

• Updates to Adding user preferences to highlight that you can set the default resource type. Coordinate with Olivia Payne on these updates since the topic lives in the Web Console section.  

• Small update to Creating applications using the Developer perspective to indicate that you can set preferences to resource selections from User preferences. See step 7 in this topic. Updates could occur in the note. 

•   Review the engineering epic to see if other updates are needed.
