New story in the user guide. Target is the `main` branch of che-docs but it's expected to be published as a "minimalistic" Che blog article first (in AsciiDoc, using the same variables used in Che documentation and the same Vale rules).
Che helps first-time contributors to code, test and submit a pull or merge request. This article should explain:
How a first time contributor can use Che
- Click on Che link to start a development environment for any* language (potential overlap with
RHDEVDOCS-3505) - Get language support via language servers (code completion, navigation, codelens,...)
- Run commands to build, debug, run tests that work out of the box
- Use favorite VS extensions
- Login with GitHub, Gitlab or Bitbucket (potential overlap with
RHDEVDOCS-3501,RHDEVDOCS-3503) - Commit, Push and create a GitHub PR
