apparently the user/password would not validate/authenticate. I think if you sign-up it could take up to 15 minutes for the account to really "be live".

After user registers for an account at dev.rh.com (to get the $0 RHEL subscription), it takes some time (precise time to be confirmed) for the registration to be picked up by the RH subscription mngmt system. During this window, the RHEL subscription isn't activated, which may result in an error when performing 'vagrant up' is being installed.

This needs to be documented in the Installation Guide and Known Issues.
