When your PR checks depend on an app that can only be reached via gitlab, you need to host the PR checks on the internal konflux. However, if you have a mix of apps that run on both github and gitlab, your github repos will need to go through a process to be added to a konflux "allow list" – you need to certify that only internal RH employees are contributors to your repo.

We should document this so that people do not get hung up when setting up bonfire smoke tests with konflux.
