Assessment of LightSpeed Core (LCORE) capabilities and limitations for implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to support the AI assistance expansion outlined in HCMSTRAT-283.
This epic covers the technical evaluation of LCORE features against HCC requirements including:
- LLM-based agent support
- Multiple MCP server integration
- Header propagation and authentication
- Tool discoverability and retrieval mechanisms
- Human-in-the-loop workflows
- Custom code injection capabilities
- User identification and data collection
- RDS database support
- Browser SDK integration
The assessment will identify gaps and provide recommendations for feature requests needed to enable the MCP-powered AI assistant architecture.
