As part of updating SpiceDB and SpiceDB Operator lately, there were some hiccups while syncing from upstream. It was also uncovered that there really wasn't a safe way to test the updates to SpiceDB operator were non-breaking without merging into main and therefore updating stage and possibly putting us in a tough situation to fix it. The existing SpiceDB Sync doc should be updated to encompass some of the issues hit, and outline the new process defined to test SpiceDB operator in ephemeral before rolling out to other non-prod environments.
