Current GO SDK is missing CI checks for linting/building of the client library. Failure to have these checks require manual intervention and future reliability concerns if left unattended.

Acceptance Criteria:

• CI tests for linting using go fmt/golangci-lint
• CI for running tests
• CI for building the project/examples using the defined go version
