Steps to reproduce (see attached screen capture)

Setup

1. Navigate to HCC stage (console.stage.redhat.com) in prod or preview mode (equivalent as of 11 Nov 2025)
2. Click the `[? Help]` button in the masthead to open the help panel
3. In the help panel, click the ✨ Ask Red Hat button; the Chameleon overlay appears alongside the help panel, and the Chameleon launcher badge slides leftward.
4. Click the ✨ Ask Red Hat button in the help panel again to dismiss the Chameleon overlay

Expected result

• The Chameleon overlay goes away
• The Chameleon badge remains present

Actual result

• The Chameleon overlay goes away, and the Chameleon badge does too – it's deleted from the DOM according to devtools.
