Currently, XE Compass hosts the plugin in a monorepo on GitLab, which makes pulling their changes from upstream and compiling them into a tarball for deploy on InScope a bit tricky.

The current solution is to pull these changes and push them to a mirror GitHub repo. The tarball is built locally and published as a release on the GitHub repo, and this tarball is referenced from app-interface as usual. GitLab, however, does not seem to offer similar functionality

Ask is to find a method for pulling XE Compass changes and building the tarball, and storing it somewhere that app-interface can reference it (does not necessarily need to be GitHub of course - in fact, ideally we would want to avoid having a dedicated GitHub mirror if possible, as this could and has created unnecessary issues in the past).
