We have recently proven that it is possible to create a duplicate "dummy" repo in gitlab that Konflux private cluster will have access to and we can run IQE tests against (using submodules). It's not ideal - but does show how we could use what we have today to keep the same level of testing without major migration. 

The final piece of the puzzle is to see if it is possible to trigger the pipeline from events in the actual Github repository - and post results back to each individual PR. I'd imagine this would need to be done through some form of webhooks and bot user - but we can discuss more offline.
