In the worst case scenario we need to ensure the inventory database and spicedb are eventually consistent. For this reason we plan to publish tuple messages that need to be consumed by relations/spicedb in addition to our eager write.

Questions to be answered:

• Can/should we just write to the topic leveraged by the relations sink?
• What is the future of the relations sink once inventory and relations are merged?
  • Does this impact our design?
• Does Debezium provide any transformations we can leverage for publishing from an outbox to a topic?
  • e.g. We write the whole resource to the outbox table, can debezium transform that into the expected tuple schema or do we need to do it application-side and have separate outboxes
