Feedback has been shared indicating the need to better handle complex, multi-region incidents. Specifically, teams need to be able to do the following
- summarize what's been done and what actions are outstanding.
- presented in a way that cuts through the noise of Slack, reducing the time for a new team or individual to understand current status and next steps
- provides a consistent format to reduce cognitive load on the reader and increase understanding. Free-form status updates have received negative feedback in accomplishing goals.
