Cloud-Connector started receiving weird looking insights-ids which caused the db writes to fail, which caused the pods to fall over.

We need to do sanitizing/scrubbing of the incoming canonical facts

I added a (not so elegant) sanitizer function here that needs to be extended/improved upon.  I was thinking of building a map of sanitizer/validator functions and iterate through those validating the incoming canonical facts.
