With the widgetized landing page effort we will have a "console-default" dashboard we will ship with out of the box - specifically for the "landingPage" (which will be the first consumer of the new layout).

We should update the landing-page-frontend to check for a new unleash flag and if the flag is enabled - render the new UI layout.
