We think it would be a good idea to push metrics from 'bonfire namespace reserve' or 'bonfire deploy' commands.

We could set up an API server that bonfire sends data to when it runs.

If bonfire fails to reach the API quickly, it should just gracefully skip the metrics upload.

We should look into how other apps report metrics/usage data to see if there's best practices out there for doing this.

Also, we should make sure that the way we push/send data is flexible and extensible ... we cannot predict exactly what kinds of metrics/stats we'll want to add on in the future.
