Users can get notifications delivered via Slack/Splunk/... the links in the notifications go to console and e.g. to a specific host. See e.g. attachment.

To be able to better understand if customers are really coming back to console from within their app, we need to add something in the url that the analytics can pick up. Right now we can guess that if some one goes to a deep link like https://console.redhat.com/insights/inventory/4eb027b1-1709-42b0-8c12-b7e73832ddea with a referrer of SSO, that they may have used a notification, but there may be many other reasons.
For the link to the app like https://console.redhat.com/insights/policies this guessing is virtually impossible

I propose to add ?from=notification at the end of all urls that are sent out via Eventing and also via email, to at least capture some of the clicks coming back into console.
