CRCPLAN-132 - HCC | Managed Instance of Kafka
-
No

Currently Clowder only supports using a single bootstrap host entry within the Kafka configuration. While under normal circumstances this is not an issue, this limitation reduces the HA capabilities of the broker (i.e. as long as the bootstrap host is down, applications won't be able to connect to the cluster no matter how many redundant availability zones the cluster is using).
Change the Clowder Kafka configuration so that multiple bootstrap hosts can be passed into applications. Do it in a backward compatible manner (e.g. by introducing new field holding multiple entries) in order to allow the applications to migrate at their own pace.
