Red Hat engineering teams developing SaaS applications on console.redhat.com (ConsoleDot) will be able to deliver their new service into the staging environment in less than two hours, for development teams with experience building established, mature services (ex:  Insights) who are deploying or prototyping new components within their existing service.  This process will be documented and supported through an interactive Developer Portal which ConsoleDot & SRE will build and operate.

Milestone 1 will involve:

• Instance of backstage operated by Service Delivery SRE
• Golden path for launching SaaS backend services into the ConsoleDot staging environment; includes a software template in Backstage.  Allowing a service to be deployed to ConsoleDot in less than 1 day.
• Feedback from 1 Red Hat Insights technical lead on using said golden path process

The two primary goals of this milestone are:

• Provide a push button process in Developer Hub to deploy a starter app to ConsoleDot ephemeral environment without intervention from SRE
• Provide a push button process in Developer Hub to deploy a starter app to ConsoleDot staging environment without intervention from SRE
