Notifications depends on multiple services:

• Gateway
• IT Users Service
• RBAC
• Sources

If these services go down, we might not know it if we don't ask the teams. There is an alternative, though: we could set up Prometheus alerts that notify us when another team is having issues, so that we can rapidly associate potential issues with the downtime of the other services.
