Feature Overview
Specific Behavior Groups can be defined by Red Hat for each bundle, and assigned to event types. These behavior group and associations cannot be modified by Notifications Administrators. They can however assign additional behavior groups to complement actions on event types.
Goals
Specific teams at Red Hat (e.g. OpenShift and Managed Kafka) desire to force notifications to users for specific events. For example, when a user starts a trial and deploys an application, update emails should be sent along the lifecycle of the trial (e.g. deployment available, about to expire, extend trial, etc). For those notifications, we must override user preferences and send the email anyway (users have previously accepted trial's term and conditions).
