Feature Overview
Apache Camel (upstream project for Red Hat Fuse product) can be used as an integration framework to quickly integrate and provide additional Integrations backend types. Red Hat Fuse supports a wide range of Connectors to third party applications. Rather than implementing each integration type, Notifications/Integrations services can re-used those Connectors.
Goals
Webhook is the only type of Integrations end-point available in c.r.c today. Adding Camel as a backend and enabling available Connectors would speed up the integration options available in c.r.c. Further, these integrations would be supported under RH Fuse. Any identified connector gap (e.g. Insights customer requirements) can be implemented and contributed back to the project for future support.
