Uploading an invalid XLS DT fails with alert containing html source with useless stacktrace

      Description of problem:
      This is similar to issue described in bug 1009465 comment 8 (and 9 and 10 - attachments). Invalid XLS DT fails (which is expected), the alert though contains html source and stacktrace (which is both unexpected and an issue) that makes no sense in the context.
      The real cause of the failed upload can be found in the server log only - see attached log excerpt.
