business-central.war doesn't contain Hibernate 4 libraries (e.g. hibernate-core-4.2.24.Final-redhat-1.jar) in jboss-bpmsuite-6.4.0.GA-deployable-eap7.x so business-central.war will use Hibernate 5 in EAP 7. On the other hand, kie-server.war and dashbuilder.war contain Hibernate 4.

The expectation was to bundle our war applications with all dependencies still aligned to EAP 6 (except for JMS related stuff due known conflicts) and just try the deployment on EAP7, otherwise if identified a bug we will need to make sure that it will work with multiple dependencies versions which can be harder to maintain.

In the same way that kie-server and dashbuilder bundle Hibernate, business-central should do it too.
