Description
If you change application user name to something else than bpmsAdmin (quite common scenario) and enable KIE server management, KIE Server will not be able to connect to the controller in Business Central. This is because bpmsAdmin is always used as a controller user even though it does not exist.
We should distinguish between controller user (which is just for machines) and the application user configured in installer (which should be used by people). I would suggest not to manipulate bpmsAdmin user on Configure KIE Server management page at all and create a new controllerUser the same way as it is done in RHBPMS-4362. This user needs to be created with rest-all and kie-server roles. The following system properties need to be changed in both BRMS and BPM Suite installers:
- org.kie.server.controller.user
- org.kie.server.controller.pwd
- org.kie.server.user
- org.kie.server.pwd
