      1. Proposed title of this feature request:

      Kubernetes metrics exporters for Microshift

      1. What is the nature and description of the request?:

OpenShift and Kubernetes is based on usual metrics exporters: node-exporter, metric-exporter, kube-state-metrics. There are lots of resources already developed for them, alerts, dashboards, mixin, etc.

Using other stack like opentelemetry hostmetrics, kuberletstats, makes friction to observabilty adoption, and some customers are discarding using the collector for more than a proxy.

      1. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

Customer wants to reuse all the assets they have for observability in Kubernetes/OpenShift (dashboards, alerts, etc).

      1. List any affected packages or components:

New observability manifests for those components should be added. They can be reused from OpenShift or from Kubernetes upstream.
