Implement VLAN-aware networks for OpenShift and OpenShift Virtualization

2. What is the nature and description of the request?

Ability to create VLAN aware network interfaces is common in private cloud environments such as VMware or OpenStack. The OpenStack functionality is described here:

Customer needs to give access to the trunk interface to their workloads (VMs) so the tenant can create vlan tagged interfaces directly from the VM guest
