Support for RHOSO Lightspeed

2. What is the nature and description of the request?

Lightspeed for OpenStack (RHOSO) is being developed and the estimated delivery of Tech Preview is RHOSO FR4 (Target is November). Since RHOSO Lightspeed is accessed through the OpenShift Console it makes the most sense for this to be based on OpenShift Lightspeed. This will allow for the most sharing of work effort and make it simpler for customers running both OpenStack and OpenShift clusters.

3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

• This will benefit customers running both OpenShift and OpenStack
• It will allow us leverage each others work to provide more value to customers

4. List any affected packages or components.

For RHOSO Lightspeed to be based on OpenShift Lightspeed a few things are needed. These might already be done or planned but are listed here for clarity:

• We should not have a Question Validation Filter that only allows for OpenShift questions.
• The possibility to use RHOSO knowledge RAG in queries (Not only to look at OpenShift resources).
• Configuring the system prompt to includes both OpenShift and OpenStack as supported projects.
• OpenShift Lightspeed should stay up to date with Lightspeed Core since that's where a lot of the effort and improvements from the RHOSO Lightspeed team has been delivered.
