Prior to using ABI, Verizon deployed their Far Edge Management clusters using baremetal IPI.  With baremetal IPI, metal3 managed the nodes/control plane nodes (3 node clusters).

Verizon moved to using ABI to deploy the management cluster in OCP 4.18.  However, as a result the master/worker nodes are no longer managed by metal3.

This is not ideal as in the production network, if any of the control plane nodes is inadvertently shutdown, they do not comeback up automatically as they did with the baremetal IPI install where metal3 managed the nodes.

Verizon would like to keep the ABI install, but want a way for metal3 to post deploy take over management of the nodes.

The Idrac information is also missing from the BMH which was convenient to have.
