2. What is the nature and description of the request?

• The current implementation of OpenShift Serverless does not support multi-tenant environments where different projects have dedicated namespaces that are isolated from each other. This request aims to enhance OpenShift Serverless to allow serverless workloads to be assigned to specific namespaces, ensuring that workloads from different tenants do not interfere with each other. This enhancement should be implemented without considering OpenShift ServiceMesh, focusing solely on namespace isolation.

3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

• Ensure isolation and security between different projects and tenants within the same OpenShift cluster.

• Allow multiple teams  to deploy and manage their serverless workloads independently without risking cross-tenant interference.

• Improve resource utilization and management by enabling namespace-specific serverless deployments.

• Facilitate compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements that mandate strict separation of workloads.
