      1. Proposed title of this feature request

Support using OpenShift Logging vector as a sidecar container

      2. What is the nature and description of the request?

The doc[1] explains how to use the "fluentd" logging-agent as a sidecar container.
My customer would like support for a similar mechanism using OpenShift Logging Vector instead of fluentd.

Specifically, we believe the following points are essential.

+ Support for using vector as a sidecar container
+ Provide a mechanism to more easily use vector as sidecars
+ Add documentation on how to use it

      [1] https://kubernetes.io/docs/concepts/cluster-administration/logging/#sidecar-container-with-a-logging-agent

      3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

Some applications may output logs to specific files.
My customer would like to enable flexible handling that allows logs output to log files to be transferred externally individually using vector.

      4. List any affected packages or components.

      OpenShift Logging
