1 - Proposed title of this feature request
Allow non-default routes on the OVN-Kubernetes gateway logical router
2 - What is the nature and description of the request?
The customer needs that the gateway logical router can have non-default routes, i.e. routes that divert some CIDRs to a gateway other than the default gateway.
3 - Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)
Customer needs to use egress IP in a network setup where some of the destinations are routed via non-default routes (i.e. routes in the OCP nodes to a gateway different from default one).
Using local gateway is not an option because egress IPs still go through the gateway logical router. Using egress IPs in different interfaces is also not an option because the egress IPs are in the node network and the environment is not among the ones supported for egress IPs in secondary interfaces.
This kind of setup was possible in OpenShift SDN, but not now in OVN Kubernetes.
4 - List any affected packages or components.
