Our partner raised the following request on the RHOCP documentation Logging section.

      1. Proposed title of this feature request

Document the best practices or guidelines for RHOL performance and configuration.

      2. What is the nature and description of the request?

Red Hat should document the best practices or guidelines for RHOL performance and configuration in the Logging section of the RHOCP official document.
Red Hat provides a tuning method for log payloads and delivery.[1]
However, since the guidelines for RHOL processing performance are not described, it is unclear what to base the tuning on.
So, document best practices or guidelines for RHOL performance and configuration, such as below, to official documentation.
+ Performance information and related configuration, such as the expected throughput of logs (bytes/sec) that RHOL can process under various conditions, expected behavior during log spikes, recommendations for log size per line, etc.
+ The limitations of using the multi-log forwarder feature
+ Performance test results for RHOL conducted by Red Hat and their configuration information (in terms of expected performance under different scenarios)

      3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

Partners understand that RHOL is not designed to be an extensive log collection system or a guaranteed log sink, as described in the documentation.
However, to make the most efficient and effective use of RHOL, they would like to be provided with best practices or guides for tuning.

      4. List any affected packages or components.
