Support for customized br-ex bridge feature on non-baremetal platforms

Currently, the following feature is only supported on the baremetal platform, this RFE is for having this feature supported on non-baremetal platforms

The customer wants to configure the customized br-ex bridge (such as adding a static IPv6 IP address post-installation).
