      1. Proposed title of this feature request

OpenShift Logging (Loki) without object storage requirement

      2. What is the nature and description of the request?

Since the migration to Loki, OpenShift Logging absolutely requires an object storage backend. There are customers and partners especially in on-premise environments who do not wish to deploy object storage backends but who have block or file storage backends available. Either replace Loki with a non-object storage solution, or add support to Loki for block and/or file storage.

      3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

In on-premise environments, object storage is not necessarily widely deployed. Instead, these customers rather use block of file storage.

      4. List any affected packages or components.

      OpenShift Logging, LokiStack
