      1. Proposed title of this feature request
Add Ability to View Certificate Metadata in OCP GUI for Secrets of Type "kubernetes.io/tls"

      2. What is the nature and description of the request?
The customer is requesting an enhancement to the OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) GUI to allow users to view certificate metadata directly within the cluster interface for secrets of type "kubernetes.io/tls".

      Description:
Currently, users must extract the certificate data from the secret and use external tools to view metadata such as the certificate's issuer, validity period, and subject. The proposed feature would display this metadata directly in the OCP GUI, making it more convenient for users to access this information without leaving the platform.

      3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

      • Ease of Use
      • Efficiency
      • Improved Security Management: Allows for quicker identification of certificate issues, such as expired or soon-to-expire certificates, thereby enhancing the overall security posture.
